- I'm a freelance writer and editor with 7 years' previous experience working in television production. I've been self-employed since Nov. of 2003, and became editor of RLife Magazine in July 2007. I also teach first-year English at the University of Nevada. Moved to Reno in 1996 from Atlanta, where I grew up and went to college (Emory University, class of '94). Earned my master's degree at UNR in 1998.
