- I am originally from the suburbs of Baltimore and received a B.S. in design from the University of Maryland in College Park. I came to Reno after being a ski bum in Tahoe (a winter with no snow). I know a lot about this City because I've worked in P.R. for the City of Reno for about 15 years. I was also a cocktail waitress at Harrah's, a TV reporter for KTVN and a lobbyist. I went back for a second degree in Journalism at UNR and am still an avid Wolfpack sports fan. I have a grown daughter who ski raced for the Falcons and Reno High team. She's beautiful and intelligent - a civil engineering major at UNR. I appreciate every day.
