- STEP2 is a non-profit treatment center here in Reno specializing in the recovery of chemically dependent women and their children. Since 1988, STEP2 has helped over 2,500 families with a greater than 60% success rate.
STEP2 would not exist without the community support it receives. Thanks to Reno, STEP2 continues to succeed in helping families get back on their feet.
Self sufficiency is achieved through integrated treatment services and skills training provided at STEP2 including, housing, childcare, family management, transportation, employment counseling and healthy living.
Comprehensive case management services are also provided and clients are given the opportunity to explore additional community resources to meet the ongoing needs of the family.
Since many clients are suffering from poverty in addition to chemical addiction no woman is every turned away because of her inability to pay for treatment.
