Pete Parker said… - We had a great turnout (275 people), which was far better than expected. We attracted people from all walks and viewpoints and raised a good amount of money for Nevada EcoNet.
Put Wednesday, July 9 on your calendar, as it's EcoNet's first "Eco Night" to be held at the new West Street Market (location of the old Green Room parking lot).
Another great event is the Angel Kiss Foundation's Whitewater Raft & Music Festival on June 21 at Wingfield Park. We'll have people kayaking in the river, plenty of food and beer and six bands...starting with Kate Cotter and ending with Drinking With Clowns.
