Do you plan for it, do you just show up? Have a camp, want to remain anonymous? Or do you think it "so last millennium"? Have your tickets, an art car? Spill......
I'm going for the first time. Therefore, I don't really have much to offer to the discussion. Catch me afterward.
Tix - yes. Art car - no. Regarding "is it so last millennium?", not sure...fwiw, it continues to break attendance records each year.
Looking forward to the experience.

What day do you plan to go out? What day will you return? Are you going with someone who has been before? do you have a bike? What made you decide to go? Have your tickets? (and you thought you had nothing to offer.....)
Departing Reno for BRC on Wednesday. Will return Sunday. Driving there by myself, but hooking up with some very experienced burners. In fact, some are on the staff. I believe I will be in good hands.
I have a bike and am outfitting it for the festivities and elements. I have wanted to go for some time, but lived in the Midwest until moving to Reno two years ago. Logistics are now easier. I purchased a ticket shortly after they went on sale. Am now counting down the days.
I myself look forward to this event all year - 22 days left 'til the gates open! It's truly a unique experience that you have to try in order to comment. If you haven't been, don't bother commenting. If you have - share your experience! My first year was exactly as everyone described it would be, so there weren't really any surprises, kinda disappointing. Last year was my second year and it was an all out BLAST! I'm really really stoked about going this year and for many years to come.
We'll be assembled by Thursday evening, with a smaller advance team headed out on Monday night. Stop by our camp at 2:30 and Jeep for nightly "American Idol"! Show us a good act, and you'll receive a very special drink from the Golden Idol himself. Every performance will not go unjudged...or unrewarded. Performances are planned for 6pm each night (weather permitting)... come burn with us on the outer edges!
I got my ticket about 6 hours into their online release - this year was the easiest ever so far. Fourth year in a row for me, and I'm counting the days down. Each year is better than the previous, and I can't wait to get back home. We've got a great crew assembled, and should have our shower set up... so bring your solar water bag to 3pm and Jeep, and your welcomed to use it (enclosed). Can't wait to check out the art, and get a good bike day or two in. Looking forward to connecting with our burner friends again....! I blog about it every year at www.smartblog.wordpress.com if you're interested.
