Speed Dating, has anyone done this?

So I've seen "speed dating" for Sept. 23rd at Sapphire Lounge advertised...has anyone ever gone, speed dating?

I've never done speed dating, but have participated in a few speed "networking" sessions. They're a ton of fun. Maybe I should check this out.

I did see the networking thing advertised too, which looked like a really event for people involved in marketing. I work at Renown and am not in that department so it didn't really seem like a good fit for me :)

Good luck with the speed dating thing. I think I'll pass. September 23 sounds so far away. In the meantime, I think I'll take my kids to tonight's The Lion King at Wingfield Park. Maybe we'll see you there.

Lion King at Wingfield?! I missed it! Bummer. I check on Artown events all the time too. I must have missed it! Hope it was great! Yeah after getting some feedback from some people I was told that it wasn't worth spending money on :) Aspen is with her Dad on Thursdays anyway, I'm usually down at Farmer's Market...Got to get out there before school starts again.

I've never done it, but was always curious about it. Sounds like an adventure if anything, or something to cross off of my "things to do before I die" list.

Does Reno pull enough of a crowd to get a good diversity of people?

Who is hosting the one on the 23rd of September?

I'm not sure who the host is..I think it's called pre-dating.com or something like that. I did end up hearing 2 stories...One was, everyone is really great in 5 minutes but it's a bunch of crap...the other is that it's ok. I haven't heard any really great happily ever after stories...but what ever...Like you said it's something to do and would probably be a great story to tell!
